Born in Dallas, Texas, he began playing the guitar at a very young age. Dime spent many years playing clubs and bars around Dallas before getting any national recognition, but nowadays he's known as a guitar hero. |

He died in a tragic fire during a show when one of the pyro effects went wrong. He may not have been the most influential guitarists on the planet but his death is surely to be remembered. |

He died of heart failure caused by cardiomyopathy. His band was just beginning to break into the mainstream and unfortunately he's no longer around to be part of it. |

Unfortunately his drug addictions got the best of him in 2002. |

He teamed up with Eric Wilson and Floyd Gaugh, who he met in Santa Cruz Sublime quickly became one of the most popular bands in Southern California. Soon they were hitting it big and soon after recording their soon to be hit album he died leaving behind his wife and young son. |

He began his recording career in 1983 and after 7 short years he had conquered the music world, winning 3 Grammy Awards, and had succeeded in conquering his greatest foe, substance abuse. Although his choice of music was blues he could play just about anything he wanted. His life and career were cut short by a freak helicopter accident. |
![]() | Cliff Burton Died 9-27-87 Age: 25 Reason: Traffic Accident Band: Metallica | Cliff Burton was the bass player for Metallica. He fell victim to a "turn of an unfriendly card". On September 27th, 1987 while traveling thru Europe on their tour bus, their tour manager decided to stop the constant bickering over the sleeping arrangements by drawing cards. Cliff Burton drew high card , the Queen of Spades, and chose the "Master Suite". That very same day the bus slid off an icy road onto its side. He was found crushed underneath the bus. In fact the crane that lifted up the bus dropped it down back on him. |

In 1982 while on tour, the band was staying at a farmhouse in Orlando and the pilot and Randy took the plane up and was "buzzing" the tour bus when he clipped into some trees and crashed killing Randy and the pilot. Ozzy later released "The Randy Rhoades Tribute Album". |

| John Bonham was the ultimate definition of a rock drummer and the stalwart back beat to Led Zeppelin. On September 25th, 1980 "Bonzo" was found dead at Page's house of what was described as asphyxiation, he inhaled his own vomit after excessive vodka consumption. On December 4th, 1980 Jimmy Page released a statement that they could no longer continue as they were. John "Bonzo" Bonham was 32 years old. |

Jim's pattern of self-destructive behavior finally caught up with him, he was found dead in a bathtub in Paris France on July 3rd, 1971. Known as a heavy drinker, it was rumored that someone gave him heroin while on a drinking binge. Jim Morrison was 27 years old. |
